Should I be Teaching my 13 year old to drive....?

The hardest thing to grasp when you are learning is clutch control from a standstill. I started putting vans at my dads business into parking spaces or driving them into the depot. It was only ever a few metres but it meant that as soon as I was 17, thinking about the clutch wasn't an issue and instead I could concentrate fully on everything else. It only took me 12 hours of lessons to past my test and I firmly believe that's because the first few lessons weren't used up driving at 2mph around an industrial estate with the instructor practising clutch control.

Can't you let her drive up an down a family memers driveway?
