Been in my job as a Software Tester for around 9 months now but only doing it until December before I go travelling for a year. This isn't the sort of job I want to do however I do want to work in IT (Have got a 2:1 in BSc Information Systems Engineerning from Man Uni), I basacilly went for any job I could find related it IT.

Now work have offered to pay for me to do an ISEB course in Testing which involves doing around 2 hours a day (out of office) revision for 2 weeks and then sit an exam.

I really can't be bothered doing this as I can't see how this can help me in the future (I'm hoping to go into development) in regards to job's and is it worth anything compared to my degree, I've done modules in Software Quality e.t.c and saw an example exam paper today which was all multiple choice with quesitons like "What is white box testing", "What is Regression testing", which I already know e.t.c.

So should I do this or not? Anyone done it before and thought it benefited them?
