I've been mulling over this laptop since its release, I love it. But that doesn't mean its worth the money.

I've been to see it on a few occasions, but most recently when I went to pick up my new 3G iPhone.

See, I was all caught up in this Asus EEE frenzy, but damn the keyboard is too small and linux sucks balls big time! (So does XP). So my thoughts wondered back over to the MBA.

Now, spec wise it isn't a killer, but in context it is very good for whats required of it. I even tested the new Bond HD (720p) on it while in store and it was spot on. The screen beats all those notebooks from Asus, Acer etc.

Now I am well aware this is more of a want, then actual need. But if I want it, I usually get it.

Uses? Not having to sit in front of the main machine, to relax on sofa/bed and watch tv shows and surf. Get myself some good bluetooth headset and I can happily sit around using it.

This Mac Pro is a power house, but damn it warms my room up so much I feel like it really is summer (is it?). Main role of it is gaming, and encoding (which is damn fast).

So basically, am I talking myself into it? I believe the answer is...YES.

What do you think?

So... you've talked yourself into buying one and now need to good people of the forum to back you up; giving you confidence you've made the right decision..

Shame on you - hit "buy" now! Remember buying a mac is about bein individual (that way you can justify anything and not have to answer to anyone!).

This is just what I needed, thank you! :p

I'm gonna hold off now till after the next Expo.

Unless I see a bargin on ebay.

MacRumors has a story of the Air being updated, and looking at Apple's history changes to a new release can/do happen 8-10 months after the product release, so hopefully we'll know in September/October.
