Hi guys,
Just a quick question from me,

I recently re-installed Vista and noticed that I hadn't installed Microsoft Mouse/Keyboard drivers (Intellipoint or something-like)
I had these installed previously but my mouse and keyboard are working fine without them.

Would you reccommend that I install them anyway?
Would I suffer/gain any performance by having them installed (or not) ?

Cheers in advance.

You get more options and the ability to define what the media keys on the keyboard do. Other than that there are one or two background processes that run, not that noticeable.

Alright cheers bud, I thought as much. Just realised my volume control on keyboard wont work so i'm gonna install them now. Not really running a slow system here so not to worry about the background processes.

a few years ago, the microsoft driver software used to cause roughly 200ms lag spikes at times in CS

damn annoying
