Should I learn Hangul and then the Korean language, or the other way around?

Something-something about synthetic versus analytic languages, no?

I'm afraid I don't know anything about linguistics. A quick look at Wikipedia seems to say yes though. Because Japanese has more morphemes but few sounds those sounds have to be repeated a lot leading to many words sounding the same.

Chinese uses word order and tone instead which in theory would make it easier to follow when you get your head around it.

All fairly bloody difficult though no matter how you look at it!
