Should i swap ps3 slim 320gb for xbox slim 250gb ?

cex lists there rates on there site.

ps3 slim 320gb exchange boxed they only give £125 so theres no way you would get a slim 360 plus kinnect they sell slim 4gb for around £130 and kinect is £65.
 
Keep the park unless there's a specific reason to get the xbox. Hell, you can get an older model 360 for £50 if you're desperate. No need to take a hit on your Sony.

They don't, they use it to navigate to the various services etc on offer, but it's made more difficult by the fact that every screen is trying to sell you something rather than make it easy for you to find what you want.
 
I'd keep the PS3 they hold their value more than the 360.

Also people complaining about adverts on the 360 dash you're not force to watch them so why moan. I happen to like seeing trailers that I can stream rather then downloading, watch, then delete. So what if Microsoft is making a bit of money at least they're not putting up the price of MSP or live sub.
 
When I got my xbox, first console in years, a few months ago I knew it would be xbox

For me.

Games. Particularly halo and forza.
Most importantly the controllers, i can't use the playstation ones at all, my hands are too small and my fingers slip off the stupid convex analogue sticks!

Really? what things to do you have problems finding?

When I start mine up I have the home screen, so can jump straight into game in the drive, or use the quick play box to launch my most used apps, like Sky, Netflix etc

Social - no adverts just your friends etc

TV - jumps straight to live TV if you press A, highlights content, small advert on bottom right

Video - Again single press to launch your video apps or a click down to launch Zune, content highlighted again with a small ad on right

I could go on but really each section is the same, very easy to find content relevant to the section you are on and the adverts are really not stopping me find anything in fact they are pretty good when they advertise a new demo out or new XBLA game and its a single click to download it, rather than launching the store, locating it, downloading it, then installing it.
 
Hi, i did the swap in GAME and have to say i will never buy a ps3 again! Shame that i sold my elite 2 years ago... But any ways just typing this to let you know.
 
the whole xbox live charge for a service that should be free is a rip off. PS3 do it free why don't Microsoft. Its a joke, I have to buy the console itself then 45 to 50 quid per game and on top of that 40 quid a year on a service that just lets me play online even though i already pay for broadband. What a joke.

xbox live is a much better service imo.

however as im a very casual online player, xbox live is a pita so i prefer ps3 for my circumstances.

it really comes down to what you want form a console but for me personally i tend to favour ps3 and only get xbox exclusives. you need to ignore the fanboism and just think about what you will use it for and if more of your mates play a particular one.

theres so little in them these days with both having pros and cons. and as said before there so cheap now just get both.

In my opinion the only thing better about the online service is the party chat feature. You can find online games just as easily on both consoles. Still, I don't understand why people are so aggressive when it comes to this sort of thing, you can like one without hating the other.
 
I'm just about to swap by old Xbox 360 premium for a slim ps3.

Its down to preference and pros and cons.

All my mates now have ps3.
I'm fed up with paying the live subscription.

I'm a Microsoft fanboy and im looking forward to using the ps3 interface.

you're totally right,i had xbox360,when ps3 was 320£ in the shop,later when ps3 price went down i bought ps3,i always had sony consoles psx,ps2.
i think xbox and xbox360 are great consoles,good for all sony consoles owners,cos of competition between those to with have better products and cheaper prices

40£ a year is ...k all,still with my ps3 is for free though hehe
 
Xbox live is easily found for £25 a year. Saying £40 is just saying it for shock value. Having said that, I game on my PS3 and we use the Xbox upstairs for streaming and watching Sky (and playing exclusive titles), I don't appreciate paying Sky and then having to pay Microsoft to watch Sky on the 360 - bit of a rip off there.
Still, it's only £25 a year :p which is cheaper than getting the extra room thing on Sky@ £10 a month extra.
I wouldn't swap one console for the other though, they each have their own pluses and minuses - certainly not worth hating on the one you don't have like a few people here lol.
