Hi

Just installed an Adata 1TB M2 SSD drive on a new motherboard for the first time. The drive came with a heat sink that you could optionally attach to the drive, ALSO the motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus Elite came with a pre installed optional (I presume) heat shield/spreader...thing (you can see I know my stuff:confused:). What I was wondering is should I use either of them and if so which one? I read that using a heat ...thing:rolleyes: on an M2 wasn't a great idea as it doesn't help that much and could cause some kind of problem. My system will be mainly for gaming, watching films etc if that has any bearing on the load on the drive.

Thanks for any help you can give me.:)
