Should my avatar not be a hitman now?

Just had a look and it says that im a hitman but i've still got the gangster picture. The FAQ states that you need 500+ posts to become a hitman. And i have over 600 now

you have to change it yourself. go to the user cp and change it.

is this a miss quote? Im assuming I read this wrong but when you change an avatar the effect is global on all previous posts. I'm not sure if the same applies to sigs though...

its typical for a forum to have special pics that only indicate a bracket of users. I'll save you the microsecond of page load time to view this page and instead take up bandwidth with meaningful pictures in my posts instead.
