Should parents with ASD children have a separate/shorter supermarket queue? To minimize the chance of the child having a meltdown and being able to cope.
I agree.
Some people don't have any choice!!No. And if at all possible you shouldn't be taking any children to the supermarket while the restrictions are in place.
Ok, no need to be rude. Myself and my Daughter have not had a very good day.And some people do have a choice which is why I said "if at all possible".
So what?Mumsnet user confirmed
What does that mean?Try undervolting your children.
Exactly, we can't just keep them locked inside. People like that man in Tesco today need to learn to just shut up and not comment at the meltdown.Tbf that's exactly what you said, why don't you do online shopping then you wouldn't have the problem, the kids need to get out and experience real life, why can't people help and understand rather than judging through sheer ignorance.?
Yea, I know.He's ignorant.
Its absolutely irrelevant how many people are in my house!!No need to get snippy because you've had a bad day.
How many people are there in your household?
Sorry,it means daughter. What the hell is a DD?
No its not relevant, the point is that people should be more understanding and not crowd round when my daughter is having an ASD meltdown. It's relevant to the point I made.
Because that's how I usually type it, sorry. So why didn't you say daughter?
Stop being weird and rude! The man in Tesco was staring at the DD’s, we’ve all done it!
