My girlfriend has gone back to Portsmouth to visit her family and get a job until late September. So far she has found nothing. As in, literally no jobs around which is hardly a surprise.

Anyways, Asda said they may have something but they only recruit permanent staff so not sure they would be so keen to hire her knowing she was leaving in September.

So should she lie and not mention anything about the fact she is starting her 3rd year in September and leave in September saying she has 'found another job' or risk it, come clean and say she will have to leave after a few months?

She is desperate for the money to pay for a deposit but lying is lying.

I suggested saying she left University - so she could get away with mentioning it is she says anything by accident - and just chat about how she's taking a gap year/changing course.
