*Wont ever be able to afford a brand new bike, crew*
I'm with this guy.
Plus why would I want to spend my money on all the little mods people do when you can get a 2nd hand one with them included and dodge the depreciation.

I'd much rather let someone else take the brunt of depreciation when they roll it off the forecourt.
Yep, you'd be mad not to.
Can't beat buying a smashed up bike and fixing it up,the savings are huge
You're definitely mad, but you're in good company hereThe feeling of not one piece of dirt or a scratch on it, the new smell, the breaking in period, being able to finally open it up is all worth that cost to me. Plus of course the bonus of warranty and (generally) you know it's going to be 100% reliable at least for a few years.
Guess I'm mad enjoying a bit of new-ness then![]()
depends on the bike, when I was looking at the MT07 the used prices were not far off brand new prices which was crazy, so makes sense to pay few £ more to get brand new in this instance
but generally i wouldn't buy a brand new bike, of course each to their own,
