if you're seriously considering a huskie, northern inuit or a breed of that ilk, please look for one that needs rehoming. There's too many of them that have been given up at the moment as they've had a surge in popularity(there's a few ideas of why that is); they need a lot of time!

Do you watch The Dog Rescuers with Alan Davies on Channel 5? It was on last night and there was a couple on who had 16 Huskeys in a little 3 bed semi detached house in the suburbs. Before they could get the male snipped, he'd already mated with the females in the house so the next time the RSPCA went back there was a total of 18 pups in the house. 18! After they'd already signed over six dogs or something previously. Couldn't ****ing believe it.
