That should just mean lower profile tyres. Gap between tyre and wheel arch will remain the same unless you lower the suspension.

First thoughts - amazing. Engine + gearbox awesome. Feels more refined then my old one despite the wheels being 20".
Very nice. Love the coulor and especially those wheels. Need more details!

Yep it's the new 2.0 TFSI 230ps with s-tronic gearbox. Sounds good, lovely dsg blips on up shifts when giving it the beans. A lot of fun.
The virtual cockpit is great but I'm still getting used to it - kind of miss analog dials. The full screen nav view is quite awesome and I look forward to trying it out. All car settings, media, dab radio etc is done on the screen.
I will get some decent quality pics up once I've had a chance to clean it myself. And waiting for the sun to come out because the metallic blue has a lot of flake in it.
In terms of options its S-Line trim with comfort + sound pack and tech pack. Comfort pack consists of auto lights/wipers, climate control with digital display controls on air vents, rear parking sensors and armrest. With sound pack you get Bang & Olufsen audio, while tech pack gives you sat nav and a few other things. Also came with full led interior lights which is a nice touch. A lot of major stuff is standard, LED headlamps + led rear lights, drive select etc.
I may not have seat position correct yet but first impressions are it feels like you are sat higher than the old TT, or that the mk2 was lower I'm not sure.

So it's not just Porsche who put the sequential up/down the wrong way round?
I thought they were the only weird ones...
My guesses would be needed more room for family and maybe wanted a bit more poke?!

The heater vents inside the new TT look like something from a high tech steel works. I like it
It's hard to say as picked it up in the school run so barely got it past 3rd gear, will give it a good poke at the weekend. Certainly a smoother ride though!
Practicality, doing more miles now, wanted a bit more comfort and a few more toys. Just fancied a change really, had the GT86 for almost 2.5 years and this is my 3rd car so just fancied a change.
