maybe I'm just weird, but strength is not the problem! maybe the fact that I've been driving very little means that my leg(ha) simply isn't used to it.

My legs are a bit girly, so now I just take it out of gear if I'd be having the clutch down for a long period of time

Manual gearbox's are amazing, if you walk to work and never drive said manual gearbox equipped car, like me

Good point, I didn't feel that way with my old car, its probably just because my clutch is really stiff cos it needs changing.

Bought this as a cheap fun motor whilst I use money elsewhere, had it valeted today, wet vac'd etc, tidy little car for the money

I quite like it but I think such a car is more a weekend thing than a daily now having had comfier cars! But it's a good drive and handles brill. Fun on a good country road.

It's a TT thing. Mk1 and mk2 had them also.

Re: the gearstick. Yes I have to move it into park and no I don't know why Audi don't do the same as jag/BMW.

£15 more to tax a year over my old one. Absolutely livid.
