How is the 40" m86 for PC use ? I was going to do something like this, saving me the need to spend out £500 on a 24" dell. Is it comfy to sit and use it for long amounts of time ? or does it just hurt your eyes ?

It's no trouble at all, I use it at the same distance as I would with any other sized PC monitor. The pixel mapping is perfect, in fact it's the best PC screen I've had yet. Before this i had a 20" Philips widescreen monitor.

It's not very good for PC gaming though, even with the 1920x1080 resolution. Everything seems just a bit too big. In Battlefield 2142, the size of the hand holding the gun on screen is as big as my actual hand! Takes some getting used to. General PC use is fine though.

Thanks for the help. :)

Can you sit and use it for long amount of time though ? I wasn't sure about this, as it does seem extremely big.

I think i may just go ahead and get it, i intend to wall mount it anyway, so i will be a little further back :D

Even if i don't like it i have this crappy 19" TFT to use.

How are people finding 20"-22" screens on the 360 then?

I'm seriously considering getting a 2007WFP but not sure what the quality of the picture would be like as the 360 can't achieve the native res of the screen.
I used an NEC 20wgx2 for a while and it looked great, just reduce sharpness to 25 and it looks fantastic!

Duuuuuuuude, where did you get the TV stand? Me wants!

standard tv stand from currys and so on, get it with tvs most of the time when you buy one. Costs around £200 I think parents got one when they got their tv :)

Seems cheaper to get a wall mount then, but then I need a unit for the DVD player, 360, PS3 etc

House business is going to prove expensive but good all the same!

Thanks mate, I will add you now :)

Its a Keysonic wireless keyboard, It's hooked up to the PS3 via a USB Dongle that comes with it, think they are around £25.
