After all that, my mic isn't working, foiled! Oh well, I'm sure if someone really wanted to listen to my voice they could find it (I record the majority of the ACD messages where I work).

Strange, FF you sound even more posh recorded than you do in real life! ;)

Way Dude! More Scottish than you thought? I'd almost swear that my natural inclination is to become more Scottish when I'm in another country which I can only put down to cussed-mindedness while most people seem to lose their accent or at least have it polished down somewhat. It's odd though, most of my mates throughout school and university don't think I sound all that Scottish so that gives you some idea of how strong their accents must be.

I'm just slightly amazed that the recording application didn't time out when I was speaking since I talk so slowly.

I had to use an pair of old headphones as a microphone so excuse the audio quality.

Have honestly never done anything like the above before but as so many people have joined in I thought what the heck, better than being a party pooper.
