Not in terms of which you prefer, but what do you want in your house?

Personally I don't get on with baths, they take too long, take up more room, they are not as clean and at 6ft with broad shoulders I don't fit very well.

I'd like to get rid of my bath completly but I don't want to devalue my house because people prefer a bath. Would buying a house with no bath put you off buying?

I'd expect a bath in most houses and even if i prefer showers i'd still want one just in case.

i shower majority of the time, i only tend to have a bath when the missus has run one and i need a shower so i get in with her. Women = bath, so if a woman is likely to live in it then you might as well leave it :p

I sometimes sit in the bath, with the shower on.

Win Win :D

Oops, to answer the thread, Id want both.

I prefer showers.. don't really get on with baths as I don't fit either :P

I'd still like to have a bath, as they can be handy - cleaning a dog or something..

I mean why limit yourself to a vertical coffin? Wet rooms F.T.W. :p

Unless you have a very expensive house with a mahoosive bathroom then most wet rooms jsut turn into vertical coffins for fat people :p or perhaps i haven't seen the right wet rooms!

I don't like all this talk of comparing showers with coffins though, personally i don't wish to be buried in a shower cubical :p

A house needs both.
What he says.

I think you would only get away with a shower only in a small flat from a point of view of not impacting the value of the property, as not having a bath would be a turn off for a lot of people, especially with small kids.
