Sick on carpet

What gets nasty smelling sick out of carpet. My mate was sick on my floor and it stinks. Would vinegar sort it out or just make it worse?

Rent a carpet cleaner / wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Cost about a tenner from memory.

Go buy a George for about £150, they are also great as vaccum cleaners and car valeters, they also unblock sinks, clean up water spills, in fact they are worth more than £150

A George? Do you mean a Henry? Or is a George a Henry on steroids?

A George is a wet and dry henry - like a vax.

I suggest hot water, bleach and a scrubbing brush.

George is bigger than henry and he can wash carpets too, just like the machines you rent from sainsburys.
Much better than dysons, as these are very simple machines, just a motor and a bucket, ours fell down the stairs and works just fine.
I used it on my car mats, which I vaccuumed clean and they looked perfectly good, until I used the carpet washer accessory and so much mud came out of the carpets, it was unbelievable.
