Help, i am so addicted to this game, and in my opinion it is sooo much better than the latest PC version.
Happily sailing along on a quest last night, along comes Blackbeard, one shot and all my sails get ripped off. Slowly float my ship into a harbour with minimal food supplies with crew complaining and upgrade my ship, build up a stronger crew, hunted him down and had a huge battle and kicked his ar@s in a swordfight.
Felt good :D

Very very good. The graphics are sharp and on par with the PC version. They have changed the ball room dancing bit now, along the bottom of the screen, when you have to do a certain move, it shows you which button to press and you have to have a quick reaction to press it to gain a heart. The swordfighting is basic, really just two buttons, strike and defend and you have to get the timing right. Same strategy though, kill as many crew members of theirs before boarding the ship and the swordfight should be easier, then plunder away :D
It is totally openended and the map is HUGGGEEEEE, at the moment I have 6 quests, also have to find family, marry a guv daughter, retreive criminals and I am currently No.1 pirate :D and have treasure maps, secret cities to discover etc etc.
I have played over 10 hours on it so far, but there is still so much to do and its very very hard to put down.
Also, i have really peeved the french off and have a bounty on my head, if I get within so many miles of one of their ports, i get bombarded with cannonballs :)
You can also land anywhere and explor the terrain with a treasure map you have to piece together and find the location. Have to be careful though coz there are traps and lions etc to eat your crew.
