Just had to sign 100 xmas cards that our lab sends out to offer profs around the world.

I'm pretty sure I wrote 100 completely different looking signatures. The others in the lab managed to replicate their signature near-identically 100 times. But I cannot write the same signature twice in a row.

Anyone else who just doesn't have a "signature"?

I just write m name, quickly. And the last g in "stirling" I loop under my signature as a pretend fancy underlining. In reality it is just a messy swigle, which would be fine, except it is a unqiue random messy squiggle eahc time I sign.

The same applies to cheques, never signs 2 cheques the same!

Yip, and bank cards of mine bear no significane to each other. It's annoying not having a proper signature though, makes it kinda hard to prove who you are sometimes :P

It happens sometimes. I signed twenty travellers cheques and each signature got progressively worse. They still got cashed when they were countersigned.

Signatures on the backs of my credit cards... passport... driver's license...library card... and so on aren't actually my signature. I have to do a "fake" signature because there just isn't enough room to do my real signature. Mine is quite tall and tends to not fit in any of the boxes. Passports are the worst. "DO NOT SIGN OUTSIDE OF THIS BOX OF DEATH OR YOU WHOLE FAMILY WILL BE PUNISHED RAWWWWR!!!!"

Mine's crap. I once got asked for additional ID in the bank because it bore no resemblance to the one they had on record.

A few weeks ok we went to Weatherspoons after work and one of the directors opened a tab and left his card behind the bar. Anyway after the first round I went up to order the next lot and the guy at the bar said I need to sign the reciept to authorise it. I just thought why not and put a generic scribble with the first intial and the first letter of his surname just about readable. The bar man compared it to the card and goes "yeah, close enough" and gave me the drinks.

Signature is an odd concept really, mine is just J Bush written very quickly and the S and H kinda go into each other but there is always some variation on it each time I sign.

I'm in the pathetic signature group too. I tried to change my address with my bank and they sent me a letter saying the signature didn't match the one on record. :(

WTF?!

Mine vaguely resembles SB. When you used to have to sign receipts in shops it would go right up to where the items were on the receipt as it took up about 6 lines.
