As topic suggests stuck between

Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 CPU Cooler
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-020-AR

and
Coolermaster Hyper TX 2 CPU Cooler
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-024-CM

Going to be cooling a 3500+ 939, currently @ 60C on Stock Heatsink.

Trying to make my case as silent as possible, sounds like im siting next to a fracking jet engine... I have the stock heatsink on it & 620W Corsair PSU which is supposed to be quiet...but something is loud as a mofo inside, which I assume to be the heatsink!

Which would be the better one out of the two, will they come with the thermal pad on the bottom, or do i need to source some paste?

Thanks :)

I have the intel version of the Alpine 64 and it cools very quietly but this is on a low-heat chip.

If it were me I'd go for the more modern Hyper TX 2 and use speedfan to set fanspeed to 50%ish and just monitor temps really carefully for a few weeks.

Heatsinks tend to come with their own thermal paste these days. The Intel version of the arctic did.
