Saw one here in the shops the day, but was double the cost of a glass one, but not enough to really put me off, other silicone stuff I've bought has been totally rad, couldn't live without some of it now.

Reckon it'd really work? My fear is it'll get a bit floppy just when thing are starting to heat up in the kitchen *giggidy*

Easy to wash up and store though would be a massive plus in my poky kitchen.

Can't comment on the lids as I've never seen one, but I have a silicone worksurface protector and it certainly doesn't get in the slightest bit floppy with a red hot skillet sitting on it. I don't get why they are any better than regular glass or metal lids though.
