Ive finally decided that im going to get one of these cases but what i cant seem to find is which one is better? The raven is £50 cheaper but appears to be quite siimaler.

So is the raven the one to go for?

thx

I think when it comes to the raven or the ft02 its more of what you like the looks of more. they both have the same cooling only diffrence is the way the HDD's are mounted.

The internal layout is largely identical and they should both cool the main components identically, but the main differences would be

RV02:
8 expansion slots
Slightly longer/deeper case
Fits 3x3.5"
Aesthetically a bit more 'gamer' and plastic, has four feet so fans will be exposed to whatever surface is underneath.
Cheaper

FT02:
7 expansion slots
Fits 5x3.5"
Aesthetics are a bit more 'grown up' for me, aluminium unibody frame, fans aren't facing floor due to frame running the entire length of the bottom
Has sound dampening

I'm going for the FT02 personally because of the looks and the fact it's already pushing my depth limit for the desk, the RV02 is too long! It's also supposed to be a bit quieter once you've bunged all your components in.

Btw anyone see that Albino RV02 and how they've made the RV03 look much less awful than the prototype?

I personally prefer the look of the Raven case, its older brother looked better but didn't function quite as well though and I've opted for a bit of a plain Jane in the 800D so it shows how much my opinion is worth lol. Seriously though it depends where you are going to be sitting this beastie, I would opt for the FT02 if you are a lounge room user and the RV02 only if it is going in a games room or your own private quarters...
