Sim Card Broke?

Hi all,

I've got a sim card out an old phone i haven't used for years. I was going to use it for my girlfriends phone to save me buying a new sim.

Anyway, no matter which phone i put it in, there is no reception, it says "limited service" and when i try check "own number" , there is nothing there ?

I also cant call out to check balance. Why would this be?

If it's a PAYG sim it's probably been disconnected for inactivity.

Call your network and re-register it.

Erm, what details would i need at hand when phoning to register a sim card?

Normally just the sim number and perhaps the IMEI number, along with name, address etc.
