Hey guys am i crazy or what!!! i plan to buy the X52 Pro and discard the joystick and buy a cyborg force feed back to use with the thruster am i crazy or sane?

Yes, but why bother buying the X52Pro at all? The standard X52 throttle will do just the same job for far less cost, although the Pro does have that funky MFD which I'm sure some clever so and so will make work for something in BS.

Hmm i thought that both the x52 and x52pro had the MFD? but you are correct it would work out cheaper.

I believe (and I could be wrong) that only the Pro's MFD is programmable though.

Standard x52 has the MFD, but it's not programmable. I have the standard.

A much welcome addition for a lot of people, Im sure it will increase sales for people who are not looking for the super sim. I didnt expect this at all but it acctually looks pretty cool.

Are there any dedicated helicopter collective controllers out there that don't cost eleventy billion pounds? I'm planning on getting a set of Saitek pedals and just using my current Cyborg Evo, which will work, but won't be too authentic.

I'm planning to map the collective to the thumb stick on my Saitek X-52's throttle quadrant, which hopefully shouldn't that shouldn't be too weird to get used to.

I'm just going to use the throttle on my x52 as the collective. I don't see how the thumb stick would work.

The Ruskies have had a dabble for a week or so now, and they all agree it is almost overwhelmingly detailed. Here is the English version of the key assignments, just to give you the idea of how utterly complex this sim is when in "real" mode.
