simple question about wireless headphones and tv

hey, i've got some wireless headphones and i want to use them with my tv. I'd like to have the same audio from the tv speakers and the headphones, what do i need to do this?

at the moment when i plug the transmitter into the television audio only comes out of the headphones.

Might work if you use the rear audio connections instead of the headphone output. The rear connectors will probably be phono, so you'll need a 2x phono to 3.5mm adapter.
