I need a bit of help please! I need to get a Windows-based PC for my dad, around £500. Used for simple day to day tasks, but sometimes used for video editing - stable and faster than his current system! I don't really want to build a system - so ideally a "built" system.

So, what processor should I be looking at? Presumably it would be best to stock up on the RAM? 16GB? Does a good graphics card help with the video rendering? SSD for the OS, HDD for storage. Please let me know what I am best looking for - if you have any examples of systems available that would be great!

Thanks

you might struggle a bit for new, but it would depend on what video editing software he be using to determine the payload, mean the system in my sig is my everything and while ive tried various editing software, for my game recordings i do i am using the free VSDC video editor which isnt taxing software, so i have no issues, but obviously there are far more advanced stuff out like sony vega i believe.

with the better of the 2 Ryzen Apu chips and 16gb ram along with a 240gb ssd.

edit - thats the case it originally comes with, but i chose a more simple looking version that saved a few quid, you just cant see it without going in to the config yourself.
