Since iPhone reset unable to backup iPhone to iTunes

Hi, I hope someone can assist me here and thank you in advance.

I have a Win PC, Iphone 7 and iTunes all up to date.

I reset my iPhone as was having memory issues on it, it helped.

I now am unable to backup my iPhone via iTunes due to an error occured while reading from or writing to the iPhone.

I am aware I can backup to iCloud but still would like to backup to PC.

I've tried a few suggestions but am still unable to resolve my issue.

Ditch iTunes and use CopyTrans like I did years ago. Always hated iTunes personally.

I managed to resolve my issue just by ticking Encrypt local backup on iTunes all sorted plus its free.

I've got a couple of these offers from new devices recently, but having looked at the catalogue I haven't bothered to activate them.
