Singapore Grand Prix 2010, Marina Bay Street Circuit - Race 15/19

Would be good, Kovalainen just said on Twitter he's hoping for a torrential downpour in the race :)

They are in a great position for a complete gamble on the conditions.

I enjoy a wet race, but not when there is enough rain to actually stop the race. That's bad amounts of rain.

No, we don't want that to happen - hopefully with the forceast of heavy showers, they will just pass leaving the track really slippery and wet :)

Should be a decent chance of rain in Singapore, especially as it's a night race.

One of my weeks holidays this Summer was in Malaysia and Singapore, as it's so humid all year round there's often heavy down pours in the late afternoon/early evening.

But surely in a hot humid country like that, it doesn't just rain it's a flash flood. This weekend has major major potential to be a classic :( oh please rain.

I was going to ask why you didn't bother putting the current standings in, then realised it was my arsey work filter blocking the image. :o

Hoping for a Vettel/Button/Alonso 1-2-3, in any particular order. All I want right now is this Championship to be as ridiculously close as possible, down to the very wire.

There are thunderstorms forecast, not just rain, I just hope it won't be driving behind the safetycar for 10 laps before they stop the entire race.
Visibility is bad in normal daylight with rain, I can't imagine it very safe or fun driving in the artificial lights in the rain.

This is what I'm worried about. The visibility is going to be terrible. Let's keep our fingers crossed for just the right amount of rain!

Also something to bear in mind is that last year the race lasted 1 hr 56 minutes in the dry with one safety car. Throw in a bit of rain and the race could easily go over the 2 hour mark and be stopped early.

I see that Bernie is bleating on about 'gold medals' again, apparantly he thinks that the new points system doesn't work..

If that ever comes in, I personally hope somebody dominates the first half of the season, and then all the teams abandon the rest of the year since there will be no point playing anymore.
