Absolute Motorsport legend, not just for F1, but with a reach into other disciplines BTCC, Le man's, Group B rallying, as well as road cars like the iconic Clio Williams.

RIP :(

People forget the span and influence of that. Ran the Laguna's in the 90's and won the championship in 97 where BTCC was almost as popular as F1 if not more in this country!

Was at Silverstone on the day the first win for Williams and always been a fan since. RIP Frank. Legend of the sport.

I was sad to hear of his death. He's certainly made a big contribution to the world.

As you said he overcame his disabilities to carry on doing what he loved doing. I think becoming disabled is hard on the emotions and many people can easily become depressed about it. But he showed its not all over and where there is a will there is a way.

RIP

In a way Frank reminds me the same as what Mitch Payton is to the two wheeled sport in America.
