Size 14 shoes?!

Hey guys,

I've been a size 13/14 since I was about 17 and I've rarely had trouble getting the (fashionable) footwear I wanted. Admittedly, I haven't been able to shop on the high street since then, but there have always been one or two fairly well known websites that would come to my rescue :p

Recently though I've made a few orders online that have been accepted but then rejected a day later because they didn't have the stock!

Can someone please point me in the direction of a reliable merchant that stocks sizes above the 'standard' size 12 :D

I'm sure I'm not alone here...

Oooooooooooo you know what they say about a Man who has big Feet ;)

He needs big socks :D

Cos we are still a minority and not worth the warehouse or floor space financially.
If there was a profitable margin in it they would sell em don't you worry ! :O

OCUK should sell size 13+ shoes!

Boots always seem easier to get hold of in size 14 compared to shoes. Slipper shopping however is awful. I'm sure this is why I get sent shopping, instead of my fella going for himself!

I don't bother looking around the stores these days, I just ask a sales clerk if they have any in stock & 9/10 end up leaving empty handed. I'll check out some of the sites mentioned above to see if they will make my life easier.

All this talk of shoes made me just have a look again at walktall's site and Jesus its crap now, i looked at all the size 14s on offer and i basically hated them all.

Bah I haven't checked them out in a while now you mention it. :( I would generally always get my footwear from these guys unless I could get lucky and find a pair of 'cheapies' in Brantanos to tide me over.

Thanks for the responses guys! It's nice to hear my frustration is being shared :D

I've heard of and used most of the English sites mentioned but I'd be interested to hear from those of you that have used American sites - it would be nice to find a regular supplier that stocks shoes that 'normal' people wear! It's ridiculous, it really is... all this over shoes.

I range from 14 - 15 depending on manufacturer, I bought a pair of Nike Jordan Elites from Nike Town in San Fransisco and buy a new pair every year or so off Ebay, so comfortable,

I did buy off Ebay a decent pair of black leather shoes with goodyear welted soles so I can get them reheeled and soled so I've had them for ages, they are nice and comfy.

Just found a pair of wellies by Seeland that fit as well after years of searching, which is great for all my winter shooting, they go up to 18
