SKQ connected via optical to my sound bar.....

Am forced to connect directly to my TV as it's HDMI 2.2 so I can get 4K... Even though my sound bar lists it passthrough 4K I can't anything but 1080p. - Arcam solo bar.

So my main question is. Am I loosing much sound quality vis optical vs HDMI? Am talking about all the HD movies and not standard TV channels.

Wish there was a HDMI HDCP 2.2 splitter so I could split the HDmI to run one to my soundbar
