Skulltrail X58?

I remember reading around this time last year intel were supposodly going to be bringing an x58 skulltrail to market since then however theres been nothing on it. One of the details (as far as i can remember) was that it was giong to be usable with i7's so you could have 8 cores and 16 threads running, as well as it utilising regular ddr3.

Anyone else heard anythig about this?
 
Everything seems to have gone quiet on that front...

I did hear rumours EVGA were toying with a 4 CPU board for i9 heh but not sure if theres truth in that or just something they are using internally to keep setting WRs.

It is not going to happen, I can't say anymore but there will be new things coming in the New Year.
