So i've just changed over from bt to sky.
So the plus points that i've found so far is that: aesthetically the router is a lot nicer and also the wireless range has improved ten fold over the BT hub.
However the download speeds are terrible!! Now previously i used to get on average between 6-7mb due to being very close to the exchange which i was very satisfied with but sky i only get 350kps!?!?!
Now i know they go through BT (stated this in the phone call) to give us the connection and when i inquired about the broadband i specifically asked what the average download speeds would be saying that they would be very similar.
so surely they are breaching the contract? if i phoned them up would it be possible for them to increase the speed? or is it that because it was only activated yesterday its got to take a few days to calibrate itself as such?
Thanks Leon
