Yo,
Im doing abit of work for a client who needs his third party mail host to send outgoing mail through sky's SMTP server (smtp.tools.sky.com)
Iv tried the usual change smtp server to sky's, authentication all that rubbish but dont work.
As I have not dealt with Sky before, I spoke to someone who wasnt helpful, I asked to be put onto someone else who did help me.
Just want to clarify this will work (as im not in a position to test atm).
Before i change SMTP server details, goto www.sky.com/unlock and enter the e-mail address (the one that is hosted through 3rd party company), once unlocked, go into outlook, change SMTP server to smtp.tools.sky.com and change the SMTP port number to 465, apply all settings and restart.
Does this seem ok?
Obviously his incoming mail server will be 3rd party hosts
Thanks
