Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

We just cancelled our q package because prices were going up and I was feeling tight. Now they have sent the return hardware envelope and im feeling a bit of remorse.

The last deal was in my girlfriends name so if I could get a decent new customer deal in my name it might be worthwhile.

Anything available mischief? Ty.

While I cannot officially condone your actions send me a trust message. Be aware that you won't be able to book online and you'll need to call. I'm also very sorry to hear you and your GF have split up. ;) I hope the split was amicable.

Hi @MissChief I have tried to negotiatie our £99pm deal and have been offered a new price of £63 pm. Is this a good deal, should i haggle more or start a new deal as a new customer (wifes name) and lose whatever sky vip gold is.

Package:
Sky Signature
Ultra HD and HD
Multiscreen
Sky Cinema
Sky Sports Complete
Seems like a decent deal but I’ve been away from Domestic for over a year now. Compare it to new customer prices?

Do you need to be out of 'contract' to use a code? We have Sky Q but think we are still in an 18mth min term at the moment, can i use a code and re-negotiate even if that means starting another 12/18month term
The only codes I have that work for existing customers are the upgrade ones. They won’t discount what you currently have I’m afraid.

Hi,

I'm wanting to upgrade my broadband from Sky Broadband Unlimited to Sky Broadband Superfast, it's only £3 a month more but wondering if there are any codes which will bring this down...

Alternatively, we are paying £46.45 for Broadband Unlimited and Sky Entertainment (just have the basic package afaik). The website says our contract is coming to an end but doesn't say when. I can view future bills up to Feb 2021, if that means that's when it expires?

Is there a better deal to be had here? Would be happy to use any codes @MissChief

I have a broadband only code, it says it's for Sky TV customers upgrading to broadband. I rarely give them out so I see no harm in trying it. Send me a trust message please @Ahleckz

hi , so couple of question .
Looked at sky and see i could have bb and tv for $41 basic package + kids and HD. Do you have any codes for this and is the % off 1 time or monthly ?
Will it work with black Friday deals or just as cheap without ?
Does this include phone line ? dont use the phone ever for calls ,we both have mobiles so tend to use them . Just have the line for broadband.
Is the broadband unlimited and not throttled ?
Netflix on sky is it the same as the stand alone product, same films and series ?
cheers mel

MY code, including Broadband and line rental should beat the black Friday price. They can't be stacked I'm afraid.
Yes includes phone line, the line Rental price is now 'inclusive' within the Broadband pricing.
Completely unlimited. I saw someone run over 2TB a month consistently and no letters or even flags on their account. I myself have done 1TB on some months too.
The same profiles, shows and it even remembers what you've watched and resumes programs too. There are some limitations, no Dolby Vision for example but 4k works.

Hi @MissChief ,

I am in the process of moving house, to a new build with Openreach FTTP and obviously no dish present.

Do you have any codes for Ultrafast? I am not currently a Sky broadband customer. I am 8 weeks out from TV contract so they'll probably try and get me to sign up for that too.

Looking at upgrading to UHD too.
So having just spoken to the people in the know the current broadband deal counts towards Ultrafast too! Send me a trust message.

Message sent, much appreciated.
Email sent. Beware clicking the link to 'check prices' as the code will be 'used' the first time so clicking it again won't show the discounted pricing so don't click unless you're ready to order. You can still call and give the code at the bottom of the email if you do this!

Hi MissChief,

Do you know if your upgrade codes work with the new Sky 'New Years' deals?

I'm currently on Sky Entertainment + Netflix £28 a month and want to upgrade to Ultimate + Netflix which with the current new years deal works out at £21+£4.
They won't stack I'm afraid, it's one deal or the other. Mine is 25% off the standard pricing for the length of the contract.
