Sky HD question

I want to get sky HD. If i get a tv and HD Box is it possible to take the sognal from the box and use my 7.1 speakers on my pc?or should i buy a new set?any help woul be great!

I think you need to post which 7.1 speaker system you have....

Has your 7.1 speaker system got a built in DD decoder ??...and have they got a Optical input socket ???

Going by them specs..It don't really say clearly what inputs this 7.1 system has...

has it got a optical or coax input..???

It must have one of these inputs for the Dolby Digital support under them specs.

This link takes me to a
creative Decoder DDTS-100 ..

But if you have a coax input you can buy a optical to coax adpator..
But you need to check that these adpators do transfer the full 5.1 sound and not just 2.1 sound..
