SKY HD Screensaver

all the CPUs on the network work together to create new (random) patterns which are then downloaded. ie, they change.

Oi! Stop complaining, Ive only got 10GB a month :p :(
I don't have a bandwidth limit :D

Does the electric sheep screensaver tax the graphics card at all?
It's just that when I used flurry, it was equivalent to running the ATiTool cube in heatup mode, which made the room heat up like an oven.

Wouldn't mind running this myself, but a huge bandwidth hog is a no-no. Especially as it'll be on the laptop, which gets used mostly at work.

Electric Sheep doesn't seem to be HD though, it seems from the website that its's 640x480 and it looks like it on my moniter, very impressive but certainly not HD!

well, they're 4 second long 640x480 mpg files. if they were in HD then they'd be like 20MB each.

as it stands they're a little on the chunky side at 4.5MB each

I left it going for a bit whilst playing the 360 earlier, managed to get 1 sheep before the input from my PC turned off, which is 20 minutes.

At this rate, Flurry is using more of my PC whilst saving the screen so wins. Cos I just love the sound two 7600GT's make. ;)

flurry ***.

It does a change for 3 seconds then goes back to this crap hippy thing. Vote system is crap... eats bandwidth. Flurry is better

D:\WINDOWS\system32\electricsheep-cache\torrent\

I can't play them with VLC or WMP though. Strange.

Thanks!

Oh - and what button do you press to vote for a good sheep, or a bad one? :D
