Today I received a phone call from sky asking how I was getting on with my new sky HD box. I immediately said we don't have a Sky box and the person on the other end (calling from abroad) hung up on me. Now it could have simply been a mistake but the call triggered my memory of a letter not addressed to me but sent to my address regarding a new sky package which we reposted as return to sender - incorrect address.
I rang my dad to see if he knows anything about it and he got a similar call last week. It's entirely possible that they just have an incorrect postcode, as we often get mail for people who live a few streets away with a similar postcode and street name. But I can't help be concerned that someone's got a sky box used my address and isn't paying for it meaning that all the threatening letters would come to us.
So does anyone have an email address for sky which may be able to resolve this situation. I've had a look on the internet for a sky fraud department email or simply customer care email address and all I can find is that I must sign up to sky.com and do it through that.
Help must appreciated.
