Well, im thinking of getting sky plus in my room due to my sisters being near tv addicts, and was wondering if a sky box would work fine with a generic TV card? or would i be able to get an adapter for it to plug straight into my monitor somehow?

Thanks a lot! :D

Scart RGB is the best connection on a Sky+. Next down is its s-video, most commonly used to connect a PC card. You can capture RGB but its not cheap. The Sky+HD has HDMI which some monitors have, the older Thompson HD boxes had component.

ill be using an lcd, but i might be getting a 24" later on this year, which should have a hdmi. So plugging in a hdmi cable to a sky+HD box and into the monitor should work fine?

I set my Denon amp up using my 24" Benq. The amp switches PC, Sky+HD, 360 and Blu-ray. Took 1080i/p with black bars top/bottom, looked great as well.
