I paid £30 installation charge plus another £30 for the Q mini. Did you take a Q mini box? I think it was £99 previously but the £30 is an offer that is running until next week (so I was told by Sky).

I certainly don't think I should be entitled to anything but as with many businesses, if they wish to keep my custom, why not offer a deal?
They are more than capable as we all know... It's just the song and dance that comes with it.

Because the people you are speaking to a incentified to get you to stay without giving you an offer. The more they give away the less money they will earn.

My main grief about Sky is the different amount of prices for the same package and the aggravation at renewal of trying to get the deals that people post about.

Like I phone up and get told that my deal is £78 we can't do it for less so I hang up and phone back saying sorry I got disconnected I was being offered blah deal for £58 and then Sky come up with £65.

That and the lack of loyalty, even something like a monthly draw for a UHD Television when you renew after your first year or days out for sports, cinema events and that kind of thing, the longer you stay the bigger the prize.

Sky's biggest plus for me though is the quality of their HD Sports watched through UHD Television so well done with that one Sky. :)
