*** Sky TV Cancellation & Negotiation Thread ***

Mine was cut off this morning, they offered my £37 that was about 3days after I cancelled nothing after

First time I'm 20 years without net access
 
I think its much harder if you have the net tied in to it, which is why I changed mine to plusnet a couple of months ago.
 
Anyone with a newish 500gb HD box upgraded the hdd? I was kinda thinking about the 2tb model but the £150 put me off, my old Amstrad box has a 1tb hdd in which I guess I could use but would like to use a 2tb drive if possible, just not sure what the make and models are likely to be for the newish hd boxes?

All Sky boxes since 2011… are Amstrad.

i got the 2tb box off sky for £49 about a year ago. it was advertised on their site as that for new customers and £149 for old in small print. I told him it was £49 on their site and they should honour that for me + there was another offer for 1/2 price sky sports for 6 months, which he said was gone yet I had the leaflet which said expiry was still another week away and threatened to complain to advertising standards and lo and behold I got 2TB box for £49 and sky sports 1/2 price for 6 months.

get your own hard drive and just update the box yourself. it's a doddle. Loads of guides online about it.

So £54 for 6 months then £74 for the remainder
(Rolling contract tv/18 Month phone & BB.
