I have a depot near where I work, and ever few weeks, there are new vans with difference pictures on (i.e gold, Simpson, Lost) etc etc.

Does anyone know how Sky do it...surely they don't buy a fleet of new vans every few weeks?

And before anyone says there just recovered - there new registrations too.

the pictures on the vans are vinyl it can be easily ripped off, some companies only use vans for x amount of months/years and get rid of em.

:) reminds me of that simpsons episode where they ask what happens to the bowling pins when they are knocked down :D

Homer's dream job at the bowling ally, i love that episode, the bowling pin bit always cracks me up.

Did they ever find out :D

I believe the pins are disposed of by dumping them in a river (and then used by beavers?) and they produce new ones which are manufactured on the way to the bowling alleys.

Okay scratch the river and the beavers, that must be another cartoon.

i love the way they turn a whole tree into one pin ;)

i remember now, the beavers and the river is in the episode where marge gets a job at the plant, and asks homer where all the Tube-cannisters go

The Episode where Homer is the beer baron is classic too. Bowling gutter balls and then transporting them to moe's via a crazy network of pipes.

Isn't the beaver bit when they send messages via those air tube things in the nuclear power plant, and they wonder where the messages actually go to?

I believe you to speak the truth.

Actually, I think they get them done not too far away from O Clockers. They use massive printers to print the logos off - same thing is used for buses as well.

sky get new vans each day, they give there old ones to virgine medias
Don't they disable 1st gear before passing it on? This inevitably leads the driver to switch from Virgin to Sky to have the full range of gears they were used to.
