Quick question..

I have an old sky box from my parents, and currently in my house I run sky tv in the lounge.

Now I have all the correct cables running from the lounge to the bedroom (where I want this spare box). Is it a case of just plugging it all in?Also this spare box obviously has a different Sky card so do I need to request a 2nd one from Sky?

I understand that by doing it this way the spare box will only be able to watch what the main box downstairs is watching.

Thanks

If you subscribe to multiroom you can watch any channel you want with a 2nd feed from the dish and it'll cost you £10 a month. If you only want to watch the same channel as your main box you need to get a thing called a 'Magic Eye' which you can get from sky.
