Basically we've a quad LNB and currently have this used with two sky boxes. I'm wanting an Octo LNB so i can run additional cabling into our kitchen which we are having re fitted.

trouble is i can't find any ideal solutions for hiding our sky box on the wall so i'm now looking at the Sky Magic eye or another device similar.

What are the best options here?

How easy is the magic eye to set up?

any help would be appreciated

ah i see. i'm still trying to find the best way of streaming sky to the 3rd tv though. the RF output method will stream a poorer picture than i'm willing to watch.

Only option i'm feeling is an Octo LNB and buy a 3rd sky box and connect it. But where to put the 3rd box is an issue as the TV will be wall mounted in the kitchen

What's on the other side of the wall? Run an HDMI cable or get an HDMI over Cat6 kit to a nearby cupboard.

other side of the wall is our back room where sky box No 2 is situated

Thought about SkyQ? You can order another Mini box and you'll need the 2TB box to feed two TVs. Order another Bluetooth remote and pair it to the hidden box?

it'll push the price up too much that the wife will start to moan!!

actually according to our online account it won't add anything to our subscription costs only an upfront fee of 148 which is the 1tb Sky Q + mini box.

i take it we can also keep our existing multi room box in the back living room?

just been on the phone to Sky.

Spoke to the Sky Q team. Basically it'll be perfect for us. no additional fee on our monthly bill but the downside is the £298 upgrade cost as we'd require 1 Sky Q box and 2 Sky Q mini boxes.

Even the guy said it's a silly price as new customers get 2 free boxes.

We won't be doing that in a hurry unfortunately
