Hi all,

I currently have Sky+ downstairs in the living room and would like to connect it upstairs to the bedroom as well. Is it just a case of running a coaxial cable from the Sky+ box, outside, up the wall and back into the bedroom and into the TV?

Does anyone know what type of coaxial to buy if this is the case? and what connectors i will need too. Wouldn't want to pick up some cheap cable that gives poor quality.

Many thanks! :)

If you want to be able to watch what the sky box is displaying downstairs then yes, that is all you need to do. Just get some standard coaxial cable (make sure you get enough to run it without any joins), a couple of aerial connections and a male to female adapter (you might want some cable clips and a hammer, possible a ladder as well and if you can manage it, a person to hold the ladder for you if you need to use it :) ).
On the back of the sky box there are two aerial out sockets, one of them will have a 9v power supply. Use that one and then get a "TV link" from an aerial shop and connect that to the TV up stairs. You should then tune your TV. If it has worked you will not only get sky but be able to control it from upstairs as well.
