Skyrim on a budget

Mini-itx isn't ideal on a budget as you can see :( Personally I'd keep the Z77 mobo. If you want to drop to the i3 fair enough but you can't overclock it. Ideally yes you want aftermarket cooling but a heatsink would make a great Xmas present from someone.....adding one also gives you the excuse to clean out the dust and maybe tweak things around (more fans etc).

I should mention OCuk have a great price on the 7870 cards. If you were flexible on the case it would save cash to get a much better GPU and CPU and PSU.
