Soldato
It is a Peugeot 807.
Is there any mechanism which would prevent a door handle from releasing the opening on the outside.
There is no physical "latch" I can see.
There is one of these on the door:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/CITROEN-SLIDING-DOOR-CONTACT-SWITCH/dp/B009MQRFBA
And one of these it connects to:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-C...ING-DOOR-CONTACT-SWITCH-63666C0-/220847362014
I am most likely having to strip the door but wondered if anyone could explain how the door would "lock" without a physical latch to help me understand as to why I cannot open it from the outside?
I am guessing that nowadays it is not just a lever and cable but electrical contacts?
Thanks for any help.
