Slot 1 P3 500 - Deadlineless or standard?

If it's on 24/7 I'd say go standard. Either way I'd expect about 20 ppd.

If you go deadlineless you probably won't get any work since there's a major shortage of deadlineless WUs at the moment - the current projects don't suit the deadlineless units. The P3 should be able to manage standard units as it's on 24/7.

Yup. 20 PPD is pretty much spot on provided you avoid the evil 7xx units - in which case it'd be more like 8 PPD.

I got 24 PPD out of a 450MHz P3, so it can be done.

Not bad, back when I had a Duron 650 it was getting ~30ppd on Amber WUs.
