Slow Network Commection on TV

Parents have a Panasonic CX700 and either on Wi-Fi or Ethernet I couldn’t get a Speedtest above 30Mbps, often lower. I have tested the power line separately and consistently get 100mbps.

Are the LAN ports that bad on these things or am I missing something?

Yeah, I did consider this - but they have buffering issues on the tv. No other device.

Yeah, so I should be getting more than 30mbps...which is at max and can vary a lot.

So on slightly newer TVs (budget Samsung) I can get well over 100mbps via WiFi. Fact is were having issues on the TV with intermittent buffering and the speed test reflects this. Can be anywhere from 5mbit to 30mbits via wire. No other device has the issue.
